When have you failed as a parent?

When have you failed as a parent? What is the baggage you don't want to leave with your kid? And what have you learned from your failures? Let me know. I love hearing from you.

We are also still trying to raise money for LOST IN LIVING, to pay a composer, cover editing supply costs and publicity materials. Your help and support are hugely appreciated. Thank you, Mary

  1. am always failing as a parent. I coach my son's soccer team, but sometimes I would rather be doing something else. I am so torn between the needs of my children, and my own needs and wants as a creative away from my day job. Time is very precious.

I have been to several parenting classes over the years, and I have learned a lot, but I am still me, and my personality still comes out in my parenting which sometimes means not always doing a stellar job, which they pick up on and return the favor.
